Amy Broussard- is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. She has been playing on stage for 13 years. She currently resides in Lake Arthur, La with her husband, Damian, their daughter, Jenna and son Layton. With a passion for music, she and Damian have written and many original songs. Amy has a voice that will send chills up any spine from sultry blues to dance music and funk. In the band, she is a lead vocalist and she plays the rhythm guitar and percussion. Amy's influences include a wide range of musical genres including Jewel, Etta James, Melissa Ethridge, Stevie Nicks, Susan Tedeshci, Reba McIntyre, Trisha Yearwood, and Pat Benatar. She recently became Cypress Bayou's 1st Rox's competition in 2008.

  Damian Broussard - is a native of Lake Arthur, Louisiana. He is a Blues's musician and has been playing for the last 10 years. He was one of the founding members of Point of View which was based in Lafayette, Louisiana in the early 1990's. He is an intregal part of the band and injects a blues interpretation to our music. He has many influences that present themselves in his music including BB King, Buddy Guy, and Albert Collins. Pure soul and passion are what Damian is all about on and off the stage.

David Choate - is a native of Abbeville, Louisiana. He has been keeping a beat for many years. He comes from a long line of musicians that were instrumental to Cajun music in Louisiana. He started playing the drums with a garage band when he was a teenager and has never stopped. He has professionally played with the Ridge Runners (late 80's into mid 90's), a country band,  and Kim Brasseaux (late 90's into early 2000's), a variety band. He definitely is the back bone of the band and is nick named "the thunder". David loves a variety of music and he is always eager to learn something different.

 Jerry Kilmer -is a native of Jennings, Louisiana. He is a self taught musician and has been playing for 14 years. He first learned how to play the keyboard and is very skilled at both keyboard and organ. After mastering the keys, Jerry learned how to play the bass. Jerry is great at taking charge of his leads and his fills are great. He makes a song huge. It is not uncommon to see Jerry also play the bass during a show. He loves funk music and his funky rhythm is something to hear. It is amazing to watch his fingers move both on the keys and on the bass.  

Jacob Gaspard- is a native of Forked Island, Louisiana. He has been playing music since his childhood and taught himself how to play the accordian 8 years ago. He currently resides in Lawtell, Louisiana, with his wife Kaye. During a gig, one might see him play the electric guitar, the bass or his favorite, the accordian. He loves French music and with his deep seeded passion for music he helps keep the "music" alive.  It is enjoyable to watch Jacob and Damian dual with their guitars or watch him hit "triples" on the accordian. Since the band plays a variety of music, he is able to incorporate the accordian into many of today's popular songs.

 
Kaye Gaspard - has been lending her fun filled attitude and steady rhythm and beat on the bass for the last 5 years. Her, Jacob and David started Louisiana FIYA 5 years ago and she continues to be a driving force in the band. Her determination to have the best show, every show, is infectious with the crowd and the band. In addition to playing the bass, she also sings back-up vocals and percussion during the show. She always has a smile on her face and keeps the bands energy up.
